Shafts
Driver shaft flex by swing speedSenior to 77.9 mph, Regular 78-91.9, Stiff 92-103.9, Stiff+ 104-107.9, Extra Stiff 108+ (driver speed).
Stiff vs regular flex: which do you need?Stiff from 92 mph driver speed (82 mph 7-iron); Regular 78-91.9 mph driver (70-81.9 mph 7-iron).
Shaft weight by swing speedDriver 40-49g (<71 mph), 50-59g (71-85.9), 60-69g (86-110), 70-79g (110+); irons 40-49g to 120g+ by 7-iron speed.
Driver loft and heads
Driver loft by swing speedStart at 12° under 80 mph, 10.5° at 80-99 mph, 9° at 100+ mph; adjust for flight and spin within each band's limits.
Draw-bias vs standard driver: who needs one?Face over 2° open to path (not a push) or a fade/slice miss: draw bias. A hook, a push or a modest pattern at handicap 5 or better: no draw head.
Low-spin vs high-launch driver: which fits you?Low spin at 105+ mph with spin over 3,200 rpm; under 80 mph a Light head; launch comes from loft and shaft.
Length, lie and grips
How to measure wrist-to-floor, and the club length you needWrist crease to floor, arms relaxed; 34"-35.9" fits a standard 37" 7-iron, range 35.5" to 38.25".
Iron lie angle: when to go upright or flatWrist-to-floor 31-34" standard; 29-31" 1° flat, ≤29" 2° flat; 34-36" 1° up, 36-38" 2° up, 38"+ 3° up.
Golf grip size chart by hand sizeHand length 7-7 3/4" Standard, to 8 3/4" Midsize, to 9 1/4" Jumbo, 5 3/4-7" Undersize; finger over 3" adds a wrap.
Woods, irons and wedges
How many degrees between wedges4° steps from your PW (+4° or +5° to the GW), SW kept 54-56°, LW +4° (or +6° if not hit full), capped at 62°.
Wedge bounce: low, mid or high?Attack angle -4° or steeper: high (12-14°); above -4° to 0°: mid (8-10°); positive: low (4-6°); LW lowest in the set.
3-wood vs 5-wood vs hybrid: how to gap themBelow the driver: 3W 15° ~40 yd, 5W 18° ~55, 7W 21° ~65; 3H 20° ~52, 4H 23° ~62, 5H 26° ~72. Hybrids replace long irons under 90 mph.
Iron set makeup by handicap and swing speedBlade 0-4, Players 5-9, Players Distance 10-15, Game Improvement 16-24, Super GI 25+; hybrids for 4-iron and longer under 90 mph.

Getting fitted
Do I need a club fitting at my handicap?At any handicap if your clubs don't match your speed; ELDRICK fits flex, weight and loft from speed, handicap only starts the iron head.
Online or AI club fitting vs in-person fittingOnline/AI: full spec from your numbers, free, minutes. In person: hit real heads and shafts. Many use both.
How often should you get refitted?When speed crosses a band edge, or by club age: adjust up to 2 years, adjust or replace at 3-4, new head and shaft from 5.
